Night Fountain of the Prado
I painted this nocturne near the Prado in Madrid. There are four fountains, known as Las Fuentecillas, that each stay lit until 11 pm. I set up as soon as it was dark enough and worked on this until the lights went off. I don’t normally paint nocturnes, but I enjoyed the process and will try for more.
